Jobello is operated by [LEGAL COMPANY NAME], a company registered in England & Wales (company number [COMPANY NUMBER]) with its registered office at [REGISTERED ADDRESS] ("we", "us", "our").
Jobello is a platform that introduces homeowners ("Customers") to independent tradespeople ("Contractors"). We are not a party to any agreement between a Customer and a Contractor. Jobello does not perform any building, repair, or installation work itself, does not employ Contractors, and does not supervise or guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of work done by Contractors.
By creating an account, joining the waitlist, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
When a Customer accepts a Contractor's quote, a direct contract is formed between the Customer and the Contractor. Jobello is not a party to that contract. Jobello provides the matching, messaging, and (where applicable) payment tooling — nothing more.
Both parties are responsible for their own tax, insurance, health & safety compliance, and for complying with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (where applicable).
You must not:
Customers can rate and review Contractors after a project completes. Reviews must be honest and based on a genuine experience. We may remove reviews that breach these Terms, are defamatory, or infringe someone's rights.
During the MVP, using Jobello is free for Customers and Contractors. We'll give you at least [NOTICE PERIOD] before introducing any fees or subscriptions, and you can cancel your account at any time.
Because Jobello is an introduction platform, we are not responsible for the work performed by Contractors, the conduct of Customers, or any dispute between them. Any claim arising out of or relating to a project should be raised directly with the other party.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else we cannot lawfully exclude under UK consumer law.
You can close your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we stop operating the Service. We'll give reasonable notice where we can.
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Service or the law. Material changes will be posted on this page and, where they affect you, notified by email or in-app message before they take effect.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that if you're a consumer based elsewhere in the UK, you retain the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
